Welcome to Honest Him and Her! I’m Esther and this is a space to share weekly insights about my experiences working in ethical fashion and having my own slow fashion brand called Theo the Label.

I feel like I’ve learnt a lot in the last 5 years being in the fair-trade eco space and running my own business, so perhaps I can help some of you who are beginning that journey, but I have definitely not figured it all out, so I wanted to be really transparent about wrestling with my values a lot of the time, searching a perfectly sustainable solution when that doesn’t actually exist and then just trying to look after myself and my relationships to be physically and mentally healthy.

I know these struggles are pretty common so perhaps this is just a space to get alongside you and know that you’re not alone and that perhaps we can all encourage each other along the way.

On this channel you’ll find a mix of these sit down sustainability chats as well as some random adventures that my husband Tim and I have been on. We’re documenting some of the cool things we get to do, as well as some of the very ordinary things, so at the end of the day you can see that we are just super average people trying to live meaningful lives.
